Uni Regensburg International Office Learning Agreement

The attractiveness of the University of Regensburg is enhanced by the attractiveness of its location, in a city with ubiquitous traces of more than 2000 years of history. Since July 2006, Regensburg has been awarded the UNESCO World Heritage Prize, which pays tribute to the uniqueness of the medieval centre and its splendid architecture, in particular the old stone bridge over the Danube and St. Peter`s Basilica. The urban landscape of Regensburg still bears witness to the economic and cultural vitality and political importance of the city in the Middle Ages. Today, many international companies are located in Regensburg and the city has one of the strongest economies in Germany, which creates many attractive job opportunities. Originally conceived as a regional university, it has become a prestigious center of teaching and research with a strong tradition of international cooperation.
