I spent a wonderful day with Maureen and Alex, a terrific couple who went to every length to make their wedding reflect their fun-loving personalities. The did their reveal at the Seattle Grand Hyatt Hote<\/a>l before walking over to Pike Place Market with their wedding party for some portraits. We had fun at the gum wall, and they bought flowers from a market vendor before heading to the Georgetown Ballroom<\/a>. We did some additional portraits at a nearby park and the train tracks before the ceremony began. The couple cracked up their guests by playing “rock, paper scissors” to see who would say their vows first.\u00a0 Delicious, unique food was served next, highlighted by Veraci Pizza, vintage candy such as Pop Rocks and Chuckles, and a wide selection of vintage soda pops served in bottles. Guests were entertained by a custom-made Maureen and Alex crossword puzzle and put their best wishes onto crafty DIY guest book pages. At dusk, lucky guests received a surprise treat as Molly Moon’s ice cream truck<\/a> pulled in to serve up cones and cups full of creative flavors. Kudos to Sheena from The Invisible Hostess<\/a> for keeping all the balls in the air throughout the evening. Their unique wedding was a perfectly quirky and wonderful way for Maureen and Alex to begin their married life together.\u00a0\u00a0 |\u00a0 Andy<\/p>\n
