Baby Lachlan here is the cover-child for May’s Seattle’s Child Magazine. Liz Gillespie, the magazine’s editor asked me to track down a little one for their “New Arrivals” issue and fortunately, I knew a baby with just the right personality. 7-month-old Lachlan was a bit hesitant at first when I set up a makeshift studio in the living room of his family’s Maple Leaf home, but he warmed up quickly as his mom and I started flashing the baby-bling (rattle). I ended up really liking the images in which the drool was starting to dangle at length. Lots of fun, and I hope we get to do more of this kind of thing as area families realize we’re offering portrait services.
