I recently had the opportunity to photograph my 10-month-old son Harry with his cousins. The challenge was to get Harry on the same level with the older kids. He isn’t able to stand on his own yet, and he is hard to photograph from a sitting position because he wants to crawl away. Three kids sitting didn’t seem like it would make the best photo either. I knew they would have little patience sitting still. The barrel was the perfect solution. It was a great way for Harry interact with his cousins and take all of their minds off being photographed. The pictures are cute, and the video shows the challenge of keeping everybody in place for just the right moment.
