Sara & Kenny met while they were students at Western Washington University. They both worked at Packers Restaurant at Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine, WA. And after watching hundreds of couples get married on the lawn between the resort and beach at Semiahmoo, Sara knew that was where she wanted to have her wedding ceremony. So when the rains came it didn’t dampen her enthusiasm. Every Seattle wedding photographer at some point will photograph a wedding in the rain, and having such a fun couple to work with made it really enjoyable. We were able to go outside when the rain would stop and take some photographs, then head back inside. In Bloom Designs provided some great color and style with the flowers. The reception was great fun, as the band played to a full dance floor all night. The highlight of the reception was when one of Kenny’s groomsmen, Steve, got up and jammed with the band with his harmonica. He also joined in on vocals on a few songs, bringing down the house.
