Eugene taught Jenny to blow bubbles on one of their early dates, and the couple wanted to re-capture the fun of that time with their engagement photos. The Seattle Center and the new interactive features located on the former location of the Fun Forest were perfectly suited to their goal. Thanks to Eugene’s tutoring, Jenny created some nice bubbles! It was great to get to know this playful, energetic couple…their Newcastle Golf Club wedding in August is going to be terrific fun. –Andy
jenny and eugene:
we were unable to RSVP to your upcoming wedding in the manner you asked (forgive us please) so we are doing so here and also by “snail mail”.
Dear jenny and eugene:
Thank you so very much for inviting us to your wedding. Though we will not be there in person to share in this joyous occasion, we respectfully wish you a hearty Mazel Tov. This expression is generally taken to mean “good luck” or “congratulations”, but it really means much more. When our daughter Susan was getting married, we told her and her husband-to-be Chananiah that when we would wish them Mazel Tov at the end of the ceremony, it would not be that everything should go perfectly in their lives. That would be unrealistic, not true to life. Our wish was rather that when they faced their first crisis – whenever and whatever that would be – that they would not only be able to deal with it successfully – but, in the process, they would also grow from it – from strength to strength.
Love,
marilyn and dick silverstein
P.S. The lovely art work on your invitation brought back memories of a bird feeder we received many years ago.
