UW Huskies Men’s Basketball | Season Opener

The start of college hoops is always an exciting time of year, and the Washington Huskies didn’t disappoint with a 118-64 drubbing of the McNeese State Cowboys in the season opener. UW senior Matthew Bryan-Amaning led the way with a career-high 28 points while collecting 13 rebounds. Seven Huskies scored in double figures, including the always-electric Isaiah Thomas with 17, helping the Dawgs finish with their third-highest score in school history.  You can see why the Huskies are the preseason favorites to win the PAC-10. It’s going to be great fun at Hec Edmundson Pavilion this winter! We’ll see you there. | Dan DeLong
