Women’s University Club Wedding | Katherine + Bryan

From the instant I met Katherine and Bryan it was unmistakable that their wedding was going to be a blast to photograph. But I really had no idea how much fun! They have this quiet electricity that makes them a photographer’s dream. I hope I captured some of their sizzle.

When you combine this chemistry with terrific, unpredictable family and friends, and a tucked-away gem of a venue, the outcome can only be a very memorable day. And, without question, it was. I can’t wait to start designing their album.

Hats off to Luke Fosler, Judy Donnelly and rest of the staff at the Women’s University Club for their remarkable service and attention to detail. The classy and classic WUC, established in 1914, is a wonderful year-round location for a wedding in downtown Seattle. – Dan DeLong

Love all the impromptu emotion shots!

  2. Katherine Schiffner and Bryan Fullerton says:

Capturing one meaningful moment on film takes talent, timing and skill. Capturing hundreds of them takes Dan DeLong.

Dan’s jaw-dropping, tear-provoking photographs are an amazing history of some of the most important moments of our lives. An innovative photographer with a knack for composition, Dan did a remarkable job documenting the telling details, spontaneous expressions of emotion, and the deep joy of our wedding day.

Dan is extremely dedicated to getting great photographs – he even lay down on the floor to get a fantastic shot of our wedding rings. We looked at the pictures and marveled about Dan’s ability to be everywhere – still not sure how he managed to dash from the front of the room to the back then to the front again to capture the walk down the aisle. We think he might have superpowers.

In addition to being an exceptionally skilled photographer, Dan’s a great guy. During the chaos of a busy wedding day, Dan was relaxed, supportive, and made us bust up laughing. Other than the person you’re marrying, your photographer is the one you’re going to be spending the most time with on the wedding day and we were so happy we had Dan with us. Friends and family raved about his photography and his awesomeness.

Dan, thank you so much for giving us incredible photographs that we will enjoy for the rest of our lives. Working with you was one of the best parts of our wedding.

    Dan,
I have been waiting for an opportunity to comment on the wedding pictures. I need to say that having a photographer as wonderful to work with as you only added to our awesome day. You were outstanding-calm, considerate, creative, flexible and just plain nice to work with! Thank you for photographing our memories in such a beautiful way.

    Sincerely,
    Karen

Dan, this is absolutely awesome! As one of the family who was at Katie and Bryan’s wedding, I know that your pictures truly captured the spirit of the event. You were everywhere all the time and that’s clear from the many candid shots. Your pictures caught not just the action, but the personalities of so many of the family members. Amazing shots, all of them. I love your black and whites – truly a classic touch worthy of a magazine ad for something elegant! I started trying to pick out my “favorites” and realized I was going to have almost all of them in the favorites file. The ones of the bride and groom are truly a work of art in that you caught the wide range of emotions they experienced. Each picture speaks volumns. Thank you for your dedication to our special event and the artistry with which you captured the many special moments from beginning to end!
