Seattle Waterfront Engagement | Anghi + Andy

I had a wonderful time photographing Anghi and Andy as we strolled through the Olympic Sculpture Park and Myrtle Edwards Park for their engagement pictures. The spontaneous, cute couple and one of those classic, beautiful Seattle summer evenings was the recipe for a delightful photo session. Their wedding in August at The Canal in Ballard will [...]
Georgetown Studios Wedding | Kate + Dan

Kate and Dan got married in the historic Engine Room, managed by Georgetown Studios, in the original Rainier Brewery. It’s a great building, with arched windows and high ceilings. The venue and its surroundings provided a terrific urban backdrop for the couple, who were stunning on their day. They wed on a beautiful summery evening – [...]
University of Washington Engagement | Kate + Dan
Kate and Dan are one of those smart, radiant, affectionate couples that inspires you about the whole marrying your soulmate thing (if you’re a youngish person) or makes you nostalgic about young love (if you’re a little less youngish like me). They are super cute. We took their engagement pictures at the University of Washington [...]
Seattle Wedding | Tara + Rob
Tara and Rob’s wedding was fun, beautiful, hip and loving – a perfect reflection of the young couple. They began by saying their vows in an intimate ceremony that was warmly officiated by the Rev. Rich Lang, before a small group of friends and family at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ballard. Afterward, the party began. [...]
Queen Anne Engagement | Suzy + Michael
Here’s a handful of images from a recent engagement photography session with Suzy and Michael. We had a great time taking photos as we strolled around Queen Anne on a beautiful afternoon. We finished our session at one of my favorite spots in the city, Seattle Art Museum’s Olympic Sculpture Park. I can’t wait for [...]
Costco Connection cover shoot
Like a lot of people, I’m a big Costco fan, so it was a real treat to photograph the cover of April’s Costco Connection, the company’s lifestyle magazine. The shoot was loads of fun, largely because Doug Scott and his crew were such gracious hosts and easy-going, patient subjects. A portrait of Scott, the manager of [...]
Beacon Hill Engagement | Tara + Rob
We started Tara and Rob’s engagement session at their very cool, 1920′s Beacon Hill home where a friend’s piano, some soft window light and the couple’s spark combined to make my job a cinch. Then at Dr. Jose Rizal Park we found a hillside of daffodils in full bloom, a wooded hideaway and a screaming [...]
Andrea + Bill’s Party

Andrea and Bill celebrated their wedding with a joyous party packed with dancing, dinner, toasts and 400 of their closest friends and family. Married in September, they held their reception in February in a Tukwila hall, where it was rainy and cold outside, but warm and merry inside. Together, they made a stunning couple: She in a fitted, strapless wedding [...]
A bride, a groom and a few zombies

Alik and Jennifer picked a sweet spot to exchange vows. Tucked among the trees, on the southeast edge of the Montlake Cut, their wedding unfolded at Seattle’s McCurdy Park on a stunning fall day. The couple, recent Seattle transplants, had wanted a classic Pacific Northwest atmosphere, and with the waterfowl, boaters and kayakers passing by on [...]
Amy & Todd’s Wedding

I recently had the honor of photographing Amy and Todd’s wedding in Seattle. They are a fantastic couple who made it really easy for me – they picked a beautiful venue, threw a terrific reception, and were completely comfortable in front of the camera (and with each other). We started with the sweet moment of [...]
Tea Ceremony of Caroline & San

Dan DeLong and I recently photographed a Chinese tea ceremony as part of a Caroline and San’s Wedding. They were a terrific couple to work with, and we really enjoyed being able to share in and document their tradition. At San’s parent’s house, they shared tea with family and close friends. There was home-cooked feast [...]
About Our Name

We’ve been around for about two months now, and we have been getting comfortable with our name. It seems to be memorable, likable, and I am thinking we chose right.
