Laura and Nathan had their first look at “Wake”, the massive sculpture by Richard Serra at the Seattle Art Museum’s Olympic Sculpture Park. The artwork made for wonderful spot for the stunning couple’s first glimpses of each on their wedding day. After a few portraits, we were off to the wedding venue, Novelty Hill-Januik Winery in Woodinville, WA. The graphic lines created by the contemporary building’s concrete exterior provided great backgrounds for pictures. The sometimes funny, sometimes emotional, always touching ceremony was held in the winery’s courtyard and officiated by Kent Buttars.
After a delicious dinner, moving and amusing toasts, Brian Waltz of Good Times DJ Service had everyone on the dance floor with an outstanding selection of music. One highlight was when each member of the wedding party performed a unique dance to a song of their choice. At the end of the night, the couple was followed by their guests as they walked to their limo, kissing as they drove off to begin the next chapter of their lives. | Dan DeLong
