Virginia V Wedding | Nobuyo + Rory

Nobuyo and Rory held their wedding aboard the historic Virginia V steamship as it toured Lake Union and Lake Washington on a beautiful, breezy July evening. Dan and I began our day with Nobuyo at Hair Salon Adore in the International District and Rory at his Redmond home. After the two met up, we traveled to the Olympic Sculpture Park for some portraits of the couple and formal family photos. We then boarded the classic 1922 steamer, where friends and family enjoyed a joyous ceremony officiated by Capt. Dale Pederson, terrific food,  the wit and wisdom from Rory’s twin brother Ryan and an impressive tango by the bride and groom for their first dance. The whole affair was made even grander by an unusually colorful Seattle sunset.  |  Andy Rogers
