Bellevue Wedding | Johanna + Neel

Johanna & Neel had just eight guests at their intimate wedding ceremony recently at St. Louise Catholic Church in Bellevue. The couple had already said their vows in front of numerous friends and extended family in Orlando the previous week, so this was something very special for only the two of them. After the ceremony, they made a stop at The Golf Club at Newcastle for some stunning views and portraits, then it was off to Wild Ginger in Bellevue to cap off the evening with an amazing meal. The intimate affair was a nice change of pace from most weddings, as the relaxed couple enjoyed the company of just their closest family. Even their two dogs, Sam and Maynard, couldn’t land invitations to the ceremony, but were still made to feel like the most loved pets in the Northwest on this day. | Scott Eklund

Seattle Waterfront Engagement | Anghi + Andy

I had a wonderful time photographing Anghi and Andy as we strolled through the Olympic Sculpture Park and Myrtle Edwards Park for their engagement pictures. The spontaneous, cute couple and one of those classic, beautiful Seattle summer evenings was the recipe for a delightful photo session. Georgetown Studios Wedding | Kate + Dan

Kate and Dan got married in the historic Engine Room, managed by Georgetown Studios, in the original Rainier Brewery. It’s a great building, with arched windows and high ceilings. The venue and its surroundings provided a terrific urban backdrop for the couple, who were stunning on their day. They wed on a beautiful summery evening – she in a strapless gown with flowers in her hair; he in a handsome black suit and cerulean tie. With bridesmaids in shades of violet, they were striking against the peeling brick walls, imbued with evening light.

When the party got rolling, Kate danced with her dad, Dan waltzed with his mom, and what followed was lots of move-busting, rump-shaking, laughs and hugs. Good times for all. | Dan DeLong

Woodmark Hotel Wedding | Rachel + Shawn

Blue was the theme of Rachel and Shawn’s wedding at the Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland recently. It was blue dresses and blue candy as the wedding party danced down the aisle to The Black Eyed Peas and an elaborate candy bar offered guests exclusively blue and white delicacies. Blue skies and blue water made for a gorgeous setting as Rachel and Shawn concluded their ceremony and boarded the Woodmark II, a 1956, 28 foot Chris-Craft Sedan Express provided by the hotel, to drink champagne and tour Lake Washington. Seward Park Engagement | Nobuyo + Rory

Dan and I had a chance to get in touch with nature as we met Nobuyo and Rory at Seward Park on Lake Washington for their engagement portrait session. They clearly appreciate the beauty of Seattle in all its forms, as their wedding aboard the Virginia V later this month will offer some amazing views of downtown. Nobuyo and Rory were great subjects, letting their fun-loving personalities come through as we toured the shoreline, paths and play areas on a gorgeous Seattle Summer day. | Andy Rogers
